Kalymnos has its own airport (JKL) with direct flights from Athens several times per week. However, the most popular route is to fly to Kos (KGS airport) and take a ferry over to Kalymnos. After arriving at Kos, there is a frequent daily ferry connection from Mastichari harbour to Kalymnos (Pothia harbour, 30-40 minutes). From Kos airport, you can take a taxi to Mastichari harbour (10 minutes) where you can purchase the ferry tickets. You can also book the ferry tickets online in advance.
